The debut album “Travel Light” represents Jaafar’s love-life struggles in 13 soulful tracks. Surprising the industry with a mature voice compared to Maxwell, Jamie Foxx, Bilal, and John Legend, Jaafar quickly became Birmingham’s premier soul artist after his album dropped in February of 2009.
